Do you have any treatment for nitrate?

Answer:
Dear Mr. Roberts,

What do you mean exactly? Nitrate in tanks or in tap water? If you have got a problem with nitrate in tap water the solution is of course a RO-unit.

For nitrate in tanks it will be a little bit more difficult. We got, long time ago, a „Denitrifikationsfilter“. In this filter system the nitrate was brought down by denitrification. But it was only useful for bigger tanks. In our current range of products you can only use ROWAbac to reduce the concentration of nitrate. ROWAbac contains very helpful microorganisms for nitrification and denitrification. ROWAbac S can be used to inoculate a denitrification filter system.

Does this need cleaning before use?

I'm from Greece and I have bought the following product:
'041405 ROWAlife-elements JOD 50 ml bottle with pipette
trace element solution with iodine.
I would like to ask you if you can tell the instructions of use because it's written in German only and I can't understand. How often I must use it. And how many drops.
I have a 300 l marine aquarium .

Dear George,

you put two drops of ROWAlife-elements iodine every day for each 100 l of water (that means 6 drops for a 300 l tank).
When you use it the first time, please start only with 25 % of the dosation and increase it up to 100 %.
If you use several ROWAlife-elements solutions please wait for 5 minutes until you give the next solution into your tank.
To ensure that the products will work quickley, please drop the solutions in an area with a strong current.
